Greenbrier Collections specializes in consumer debt and medical collections, while our subsidiary, Greenbrier Financial Services, specializes in commercial debt collection. We are data furnishers to the credit bureaus and Dunn & Bradstreet.
The Owners
John F. Leaberry, Attorney Mr. Leaberry has engaged in the private practice of law for over 20 years, concentrating in collections, creditor rights and bankruptcy. He is a member of the West Virginia Bar and has been admitted to practice before the West Virginia Supreme Court, the Kentucky Supreme Court, the US District Court (SD-WV and ED-KY) and the US Bankruptcy Court (SD-WV and ED-KY). He currently serves as principal outside counsel to Greenbrier Financial Services, Inc. He has previously served in a variety of appointed positions in West Virginia state government. Mr. Leaberry is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law. He received a graduate law degree in Tax from the University of Miami School Of Law. Mr. Leaberry is a member of the Commercial Law League of America and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
Lawrence J. Ickes, CPA Mr. Ickes has been in practice as a CPA for over 20 years. He graduated Cum Laude from Concord College and earned his CPA designation in 1985. After a stint with an accounting firm and an adjunct professorship of accounting for a local college, Mr. Ickes spent eight years working in the coal industry at various levels of management and as CFO.
Mr. Ickes went into private practice in 1994. His focus is now on startup companies, providing CFO and outside CPA services to small companies, commercial debt resolution and cash-flow management.
